ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative is responsible for acquiring new accounts and increasing market share at new and assigned accounts. This role’s responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to close contracts with new customers. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve the financial targets. The duties of the role will include hitting annual revenue targets, building a strong pipeline, maintaining relationships, and understanding customer trends.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Increase Smart Meter’s market share in the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) Industry
· Own and achieve assigned Annual Revenue target within assigned geography and accounts
· Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve revenue targets and expand the customer base
· Increase and generate new streams of revenue from existing accounts
· Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
· Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
· Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations to prospects and customers
· Drive awareness and adoption of Smart Meter solutions across the healthcare channel (Providers, Hospitals, Health Systems, IDNs, Homecare, RPM & CCM Platform companies, etc.)
· Understand the Smart Meter products and services and identify the correct portfolio solution opportunities for prospects and customers to expand their partnership with Smart Meter
· Align customer’s goals to ensure satisfaction with the Smart Meter solutions
· Continuously monitor performance across a variety of metrics within accounts/territory, including market share, unit growth, pricing, and competition
· Understand and communicate sales challenges, account obstacles, and business opportunities to management team
· Work with sales and marketing teams to implement sales and marketing campaigns
· Participate and attend conferences and trade shows as needed
· Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
· Other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor or senior leadership
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- MUST have Medical Device/Pharma/Remote Patient Monitoring/Chronic Care Management or Health IT experience
· Experience selling healthcare solutions in a B2B model delivering recurring revenue
· 3-5 years’ experience selling healthcare devices, solutions, or data
- Results-driven mentality, with a bias for speed and action C-Suite selling experience a plus
- Prior sales experience in one or more of the following: Providers, Home Care, Hospitals, Health Systems, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) or equivalent consultant or complex sales experience
· Track record of driving significant growth. Ideally, experience starting with an emerging business. Above-market growth in a more mature market will also be considered
- Superior negotiation skills and influence management skills (proven with large customers)
· Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
· Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
