Dog Daycare Attendant - Smart Parke

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare Attendant. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and supervision for dogs in our daycare facility. Responsibilities:
- Supervise dogs in the daycare facility, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, providing mental and physical stimulation
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or ensure a safe environment
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the daycare area, including cleaning up after dogs
- Administer medications or treatments to dogs as instructed by their owners or veterinarians
- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing, nail trimming, and bathing
- Assist with feeding and providing fresh water to dogs as needed
- Interact with dog owners, providing updates on their pets' activities and behavior

Requirements:
- Previous experience handling dogs in a professional setting is preferred (e.g., dog daycare, veterinary clinic, animal shelter)
- Knowledge of dog behavior, body language, and basic training techniques
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with dog owners
- Basic understanding of pet care
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and engage in physical activities throughout the day
- Ability to work well in a team environment

BENEFITS:

Part time: employee discount, paid time off

SHIFTS:

- Day shifts range from 4 hours to 10 hours and start as early as 6:00am and run as late as 9:00pm.

- Overnight shifts are from 9:00pm until 6:30am.

- If you work a full shift, you will have a 10-minute break before lunch, an hour for lunch, and a 10-minute break after lunch.

- If you work a short shift, you will have one 10-minute break.

UNIFORM:

Smart Parke T-shirt, close toed shoes, pants (no shorts, leggings, or pants with rips/holes)
