Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. We are a property management company with over 400 rental homes in the Polk county area. This position would take place in our rent ready process or painting the interior of the rental homes before we rent them to a tenant.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Restore and renovate surfaces as needed to enhance their appearance.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to complement painting work.
- Execute caulking and masonry tasks as part of the preparation process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with various tools and materials.
- This is a 1099 position
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial painting techniques and practices.
- Ability to restore and maintain surfaces effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
- Excellent time management skills to complete projects within deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Experience preferred but not required.
