Safety Director

The impact you will make includes: 

• Establishing safe working environments for all 
• Engaging team members across Sunroc to share in the culture of safety 
• Leading our team of top-notch safety professionals and developing them to the next level 
• Recognizing the need for new and evolving policies & protocols and administering them 
• Overseeing the development and delivery of safety training

Some key activities include: 

• Functioning as a subject matter expert for all safety-related topics, issues, and claims 
• Analyzing safety trends and loss patters 
• Working with company and project/site leadership to develop and improve safety culture 
• Overseeing major incident investigations and root-cause analyses 

What you will need: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or a related field 
• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional safety experience, including leadership 
• Extensive safety training development & delivery experience 
• OSHA, MSHA, DOT expertise 
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)/Associate Safety Professional (ASP) preferred
