Company Overview: SMART Ride LLC is a leading provider of Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) in the Monadnock region, committed to providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transport for individuals needing specialized care. We are expanding rapidly, with exciting new service agreements on the horizon, and are looking for dedicated drivers to join our team in supporting our community. With a strong partnership with local healthcare providers, SMART Ride is alleviating the strain on the EMS system and ensuring every passenger receives respectful, high-quality service.

Available Positions:

We offer three levels of driver positions, each with unique responsibilities and opportunities for professional growth:

  • Transport Specialist

Our most skilled driver role, ideal for those with advanced experience.

  • Responsibilities: Handle all NEMT services, including ambulatory, wheelchair, adaptive equipment, and stretcher transport.
  • Qualifications: Experience in NEMT or similar fields, strong knowledge of medical transportation needs, and specialized equipment handling skills.
  • Benefits: Opportunity for leadership roles, additional training for complex transports.
  • Passenger Transport Technician

A solid role for drivers experienced in wheelchair and ambulatory transportation.

  • Responsibilities: Provide safe and reliable transport for wheelchair and ambulatory clients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout each trip.
  • Qualifications: Experience in transporting individuals with mobility needs is preferred, along with excellent customer service skills.
  • Benefits: Ongoing training opportunities, potential for advancement to Transport Specialist.
  • Transportation Provider

An entry-level position ideal for those new to medical transportation.

  • Responsibilities: Assist ambulatory clients and serve as a support driver, working alongside supervisors and Transport Specialists as a second provider.
  • Qualifications: A valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a genuine desire to serve the community.

Qualifications for All Positions:

  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to lift and assist passengers, particularly for wheelchair and stretcher transports (Transport Specialist only).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
