As an experienced and industrial sand mining company, we are eager to meet hard-working, dedicated, and fun individuals.
We are currently looking for a Loader Operator to join our night shift Mining & Equipment team.
The Loader Operator operates a variety of heavy equipment and trucks used in supplying the plant with materials as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Loads haul trucks, feeds wet and dry plants efficiently, keeps work area clean, roads smooth, and understands what material is being fed to plants.
- Operates haul trucks of various sizes in all locations on site.
- Operates trucks and construction or power equipment, such as dump truck, snowplow, telehandler and skid steers.
- Operates water tanker and similar equipment for dust control and dirt compaction.
- Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor.
- Uses hand-held mobile radio units to coordinate tasks and resources.
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
- Demonstrates constant commitment to safety, professional behavior, and environmental considerations.
- Works cooperatively to comply with facility-wide environmental and quality management systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record Check (MVR).
- Must possess a valid WI driver license.
- Pre-employment physical must result in medical clearance to wear a respirator.
- Previous experience driving a haul truck strongly preferred.
- Good judgment is required.
- Must be adaptable and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- MSHA training and experience is also a plus.
