Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Welders to join our team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in 2G to 6G pipe welding using the FCAW (Dual Shield / Flux-Cored Arc Welding) process and must be able to pass a 2G and 5G or 6G pipe weld test. This role requires proficiency in operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and various fabrication equipment. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds that meet AWS D1.1 standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FCAW welding in 2G, 5G, and 6G positions on structural steel and pipe.
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other fabrication equipment safely.
- Ensure all weld fit-up and prep work meet inspection standards before welding.
- Follow AWS D1.1 codes and company welding procedures to ensure compliance and quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety specifications.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to all workplace safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
