Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their individuality and self-expression.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment that supports all students.
- Assist children with daily activities such as meals, nap times, and personal hygiene routines.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education concepts and curriculum development.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
- First aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.
