Daycare Assistant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will engage with young learners, fostering their development through play-based activities and structured learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, maintaining a clean and organized classroom.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their individuality and self-expression.
• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment that supports all students.
• Assist children with daily activities such as meals, nap times, and personal hygiene routines.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.

Skills

• Strong understanding of childcare principles and practices.
• Experience working with children, particularly in a daycare or preschool setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood education concepts and curriculum development.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus.
• First aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.75 per hour
