Childcare Afternoon Floater

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating young children, creating a safe and engaging environment for their development. Shift is 2pm-6 pm Monday- Friday.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the childcare area, including toys and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Implement educational programs that align with early childhood education standards.
• Assist with daily routines such as nap time, diaper changes, and personal hygiene.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage social skills and emotional growth.

Requirements

• Experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, or nannying is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
• Familiarity with toddler care practices and classroom management techniques.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents.
• Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of varying ages.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Background checks are required to ensure child safety.
