Are you right for us? (Job Description)
We are looking for reliable technicians who are dedicated to providing exceptional service to customers. We are open to work with call-to-schedule, part-time, contract technicians. You must have good availability, be responsive, and able to provide a minimum 48-hour turnaround or sooner. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Training is provided. This position is part-time at the moment with the goal of expanding into a full time position.
Salary:
-This is a 1099-contractor position, with the goal of expanding into a full-time position.
-Starting pay: $25-$50/hr
Responsibilities:
-Install and service smart home security technology in residential homes and commercial properties from alarm.com compatible systems
- Ensure daily on-time arrivals for customer appointments
- Install, test, and service data cables such as Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Coax, and Siamese Cables
- Installs, tests, and services IP and Video security cameras to Network Video Recorder, Digital Video Recorder, and Cloud-based systems
- Mounts televisions and conceals wires to ensure a seamless viewing experience for customers
- Install. Home Theater systems and ensured their connectivity for a properly functioning system
- Installs Data Equipment and Network equipment while configuring and programming wireless and wired devices that guarantee an effective network infrastructure
- Install Access Control systems and intercom systems for small apartment buildings, religious organizations, and school systems configures and programs devices to customer and equipment specifications.
-Responsible for installing, setting up, and testing equipment
-Responsible for educating customer on equipment
-Responsible for uninstalling equipment (when required)
-Clean up debris from installation sites
Must Have:
-Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
-Pass a background check
-Ability to work flexible hours
