- 5 or more years of experience in COBOL development on mainframe systems.
- Proficiency in JCL development and maintenance.
- Experience with DB2 databases and Control-M scheduling.
- Experience in Java programming.
- Experience with AWS services & Kofax solutions.
- Experience in Postgres database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into structured COBOL programs.
- Maintain and enhance custom software, including data entry screens and batch processing.
- Review existing code and business processes to support non-database functions.
- Test program changes, update test files, and ensure accuracy of modifications.
- Identify and correct data errors through application logic.
- Assist in converting COBOL applications to web-based platforms.
- Prepare documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
