POSITION SUMMARY: Smart Warehousing is seeking a HRIS Coordinator to join our HR department. This position is a tactical role that supports the day to day HRIS administrative functions from end to end. The person in this role will be responsible for data integrity, administrative system(s) maintenance, process improvement, data entry, and more.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for accurate, complete, and timely employee data updates through data entry and task completion in HRIS systems.
- Assists with the coordination, optimization, and monitoring of multiple HR systems and workflows.
- Performs regular data entry, standardization, maintenance, and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborates with HR team members, IT staff, and external vendors to optimize system functionality and resolve issues.
- Maintain and support a variety of reports and queries using appropriate reporting tools.
- Analyzes data flows to identify process improvement opportunities; recommends solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinates with internal HR team members and internal departments.
- Responsible for HR record keeping in employee records and shared drive.
- Performs day one administrative tasks for new hires including entry into HRIS system, assists with I-9 completion, and additional hire tasks as needed.
- Works closely with new hires to update on status and provide start details prior to day one.
- Support HR processes and SOP maintenance as needed.
- Assists HR team with administrative tasks of the termination process for employees.
- Assists with the timekeeping processes as well as updates to HRIS systems as needed.
- Supports special projects related to HR systems or organizational initiatives as needed.
- Assist with HR admin compliance as needed.
“THE PERSON”
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 or more years in Human Resources, Data Management, or Reporting, preferred.
- Prior experience diagnosing system issues and/or troubleshooting systems, preferred.
- Demonstrates strong analytical, problem solving, and solution-oriented skills.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
- Experience working in Microsoft Suite including experience with Excel.
- Prior experience in a fast pace or high-volume setting.

PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to see, hear, talk, write, read, stand, walk, bend over, and be alert at all times. The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
