smartdept. is searching for a Product Designer for an ad agency client located in Berkeley, CA. The ideal candidate will come with 3-5 years of experience. This is a full-time , hybrid , ongoing contract opportunity with the possibility to convert to perm status .
What You'll Do :
- Conduct user research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Analyze feedback and usability data to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and workflows.
- Use tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar to build interactive prototypes.
- Design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
- Develop design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver designs that align with technical feasibility and project goals.
- Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.
- Identify and solve UX problems, such as pain points and usability bottlenecks.
