smartdept. is searching for a UX / UI Designer for a financial services client of ours located in Riverwoods, IL . The ideal candidate will come with 3-10 years of experience . This is a full-time , hybrid , 6 -month contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert. Compensation for this position is expected to be $40-$60 / hour depending on experience level and fit.
What You’ll Do :
- Responsible for product design across websites and apps that deliver business strategies and delight customers
- As a designer of a cross-functional product family, this person will design experiences that are easy to use, accessible, and exhibit strong visual design
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to help understand problems and define solutions
- Develop design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and other UX / UI design deliverables in Figma and other tools based on the design brief and other experience requirements provided by the strategy team
