smartdept. is searching for a Video Editor for a Creative Agency client. The ideal candidate will come with prior experience editing movie and TV trailers . This is a part-time , fully remote , contract opportunity.
What You’ll Do :
- Craft compelling and visually stunning trailers for movies and TV shows, ensuring they capture the essence of the content and engage the target audience.
- Develop narrative arcs within the trailers that effectively convey the tone, genre, and key elements of the film or show.
- Review and organize raw footage, select the most impactful shots, and assemble them into a cohesive and exciting trailer.
- Work closely with producers, directors, and marketing teams to understand their vision and incorporate feedback into your edits.
- Provide creative input on trailer structure, pacing, and music to enhance the overall impact and effectiveness of the trailer.
- Ensure all trailers meet high-quality standards, including visual consistency, sound design, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and precision.
