smartdept. is searching for a Product Designer for an ad agency client located in Berkeley, CA. The ideal candidate will come with 3-5 years of experience. This is a full-time , hybrid , ongoing contract opportunity with the possibility to convert to perm status .What You’ll Do : Conduct user research to understand target audience needs, preferences, and pain points.Analyze feedback and usability data to inform design decisions.Create wireframes, storyboards, and prototypes to visualize design concepts and workflows.Use tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar to build interactive prototypes.Design aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.Develop design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to deliver designs that align with technical feasibility and project goals.Conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.Identify and solve UX problems, such as pain points and usability bottlenecks.What You’ll Need : Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience designing for a large company, preferably in the healthcare industry.3-5 years of relevant experienceStrong portfolio showcasing UX / UI design projects, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.Experience with usability testing methods and tools.Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles is a plus but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
