In addition, this position is eligible for $10 a month paid for monthly cellular phone allowance

BASIC FUNCTION
The Full-time Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning and repairs on equipment at AUS Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, some local malls and fitness locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance and repair of equipment
- Maintain clean equipment
- Maintain policy and procedure expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte
- Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair and working as designed
- Maintain a positive relationship with the facility management
- Other assignments as needed.
EDUCATION
- Technical degree preferred
SKILLS
- Working knowledge of equipment
- Electrical and mechanical equipment repair
- Excellent verbal and written communication

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid Drivers license required
- Ability to get airport badge required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift 40 lbs. to waist height
- Push/Pull 75-100 lbs.
- Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
- Visual acuity/manual dexterity to perform mechanical and electrical repairs
Experience
Preferred- Previous experience with route based technical repairs preferred
Education
Preferred- Technical/other training or better in Electronics Technology or related field
