BASIC JOB FUNCTION : Reconditioning and repairing manual wheelchair equipment (wheelchairs), and related parts, in designated locations at Tampa International Airport. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Routine preventative maintenance & inspection equipment
- Maintenance & Inspection of Wheelchair Fleet
- Periodic Inventorying of Fleet
- Installation of new or replacement equipment as needed.
- Managing Positive Customer Relations
- Timely reporting; timesheet & maintenance Log, etc.
- Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of common hand tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Mechanical aptitude is required
- Company hand tools with be provided
- Knowledge of manual wheelchairs preferred, but not required
- Must be age 18 or older EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates or Technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :
- Ability to get an Airport Badge is required
- Drivers License preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Walk and stand for duration of shift
- Bend and stoop regularly Experience Required
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of common hand tools Preferred
- Knowledge of manual wheelchairs preferred Education Preferred
- High School or better
