BASIC FUNCTION
The Warehouse Supervisor will ensure daily operational goals within the warehouse are met by providing tactical leadership to personnel. Responsible for the coordination of facility’s distribution and repair operations, consistent with cost, profit, and productivity objectives. This position will perform hands-on responsibilities within the facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise warehouse staff, including training, schedules, and performance
- Supervise and direct the daily distribution of products, coordinating with internal and external sources
- Maintain and control warehouse inventory, reconcile inventory variances
- Oversee quality assurance of products and finished goods packaging as required
- Adheres to all policies and procedures relating to product age and quality
- Analyze production operations and workflow and develops improvement recommendations
- Ensure that operations are performed within Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policy and procedure
- Assist with the loading & unloading of shipments
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERINECE & SKILLS
- Minimum of 1 year experience supervising & leading in a warehouse environment.
- Must have demonstrated leadership, communication, organization & customer service skills
- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity
- Perform job duties effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated proficiency in multitasking, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook & navigating the internet.
- Basic business math
- ERP experience a plus
EDUCATION
- High School diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
- Driver License required
- Ability to pass airport badge requirements
PHYSICIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs to waist height
- Stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull
- Lift above head
- Work under tight deadlines
