Roles and Responsibilities:

Knowledge of Ignition road map, latest features and capabilities of the Ignition SCADA platform.
Technical expertise to guide the process engineers, operators, and other stakeholders regarding Ignition SCADA utilization and best practices.
Develop and customize modules, scripts, and templates.
Seamless integration of Ignition with other OT systems.
Integrate with other OT systems such as DCS (Distributed Control System), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning).
System upgrades, perform testing and validations.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation by leveraging data from the SCADA system.
Document system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
Train the required stakeholders on the SCADA platform.
Technical support and guidance to resolve day-to-day issues.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
Strong knowledge and experience in process data historian systems.
Proficiency in configuring and administering SCADA systems, preferably using Ignition.
Familiarity with industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and Ethernet/IP.
Experience in designing and developing HMI screens, dashboards, and reports.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to SCADA and process data systems.
Understanding of industrial automation concepts and technologies.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary : $75 - $85
