POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are searching for a Technical Writer to produce high-quality, audience-appropriate HR-related policies, procedures, training material and documentation, employee handbooks, etc., that contribute to the team's overall success. They will work collaboratively to develop and update a variety of guides, documents, reference material, process maps and work instructions.
JOB DUTIES:
- Write and edit policies, standard operating procedures, reports, templates, handbooks, flow charts, etc.
- Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers or establishment personnel.
- Maintain records, files of work, and revisions in a central place.
- Support real-time training events in the form of documentation creation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
3 - 5 years of experience in a technical writing role, as well as college experience, may be considered.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with others.
-Knowledge of Sharepoint and Microsoft tools.
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet assigned deadlines.
Knowledge, Skill & Abilities (KSAs):
-Must possess excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. The ability to interact with staff at all levels.
-Be able to deliver perfect body of work without spelling or grammatical errors. Strong knowledge of personal computers and various software, specifically Adobe Editor and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly SharePoint and OneNote.
