Smarter HR Solutions is currently seeking experienced and skilled individuals to fill a Senior Project Manager role for our IT client. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the functional support of the 9.2 PeopleSoft HCM/Financials platform. Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, application configuration, end-user support, and testing for ongoing enhancements to the production application. Also, this role will be providing functional expertise and contributing to improvements and enhancements for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems.
Requirements:
- PeopleSoft techno-functional knowledge of:
- HR, Payroll, Commitment Accounting, Position Management/Budgeting
- Ability to write functional specifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business and development teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- End-to-end knowledge of Commitment Accounting and General Ledger Processing, initiating from HCM and interfacing into the FSCM system.
- Experience with configuring HCM to FSCM Integration Broker service operations to support payroll-to-GL interface.
- Strong understanding of Position Management and Department Budget business processes from a system perspective.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with end-users to gather business needs and requirements.
- Assist in analyzing and designing PeopleSoft deliverables based on business requirements.
- Create and assist in the development of functional specifications.
- Educate and advise department on PeopleSoft HR/Payroll/Commitment Accounting functionality and its integration with FSCM.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop, test, and document enhancements and modifications.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business requirements.
- Conduct end-user training and prepare user documentation as needed.
- Analyze and troubleshoot functional system issues, providing resolution options.
- Adhere to established methodologies, controls, and quality standards.
- Work independently with limited direction while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
