Channel Sales Account Manager—United States

As a Channel Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for expanding SmartFlower Solar's presence by building and managing a robust network of resellers across the Americas. Your primary goal is to develop strategic partnerships that drive sales and effectively position SmartFlower's unique value proposition to commercial, institutional, and industrial customers.

Success in this role requires a proactive, relationship-driven approach to channel sales, strong B2B sales experience (2-3 years preferred), and the ability to engage with reseller teams and key decision-makers, including C-suite executives in management, marketing, and sustainability roles. With a sales cycle of 6-18 months, you'll need excellent communication and organizational skills to guide partners in generating and closing high-value opportunities.

Reporting directly to the President of SmartFlower Solar, this role offers significant growth potential for a dynamic professional passionate about renewable energy and channel development.

Responsibilities

  • Expand and strengthen SmartFlower's channel partner network across the Americas by identifying and developing relationships with top-tier resellers
  • Empower resellers with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to successfully promote and sell SmartFlower solutions
  • Drive revenue growth by collaborating with resellers to manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to order fulfillment, while documenting all activities in SmartFlower's CRM (Salesforce)
  • Identify high-impact opportunities for resellers to align SmartFlower Solar solutions with customer needs, highlighting sustainability benefits and branding potential
  • Identify and leverage regional incentive programs to help resellers identify and pursue high-potential customers
  • Support marketing initiatives by ensuring resellers maximize SmartFlower Solar campaigns through strategic follow-up and tailored ales approaches
  • Proactively engage with inbound leads while assisting resellers in targeting and securing new customers within their territories

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary starting at $75,000 with top performers earning up to $120,000 through commissions and bonuses tied to reseller performance


Requirements

  • 2-3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally working with resellers or channel partners in advertising/branding, distributed generation, energy services, or utility equipment sectors
  • Proven ability to develop accounts and close orders through channel partnerships
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams, including startups, small companies, or large organizations
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strategic thinker with a curious and creative approach to sales
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and build trust with resellers and their clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Reliable, ethical, and dedicated to delivering results
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • Willingness to travel within the sales territory to meet with resellers and key accounts
