Job Summary:
Retirement Plan Recordkeeper is responsible for the timely and accurate entry and allocation of clients' retirement plan contributions and highly sensitive individual employee retirement data. The position is also responsible for the timely resolution of errors or discrepancies and the handling of rollovers, loan payrolls, and sponsor web updates.
Essential Responsibilities:
- We anticipate that this role will maintain a focus on plan onboarding, communication with plan sponsors and participants throughout the onboarding process, and coordination with the Recordkeeping Team and the T Bank trust department, as well as third-party providers to the respective plan.
- Maintains strong working knowledge of all applicable T Bank Policies and Procedures directly or indirectly related to areas of responsibility and ensures policy requirements are carried out.
- Process incoming transferred plan assets and employee and employer contributions using a variety of methods including data entry, upload through the Data Validation Center or emailed spreadsheets that require formatting and set up prior to upload.
- Settle contribution investment trades in our recordkeeping system. Run detailed reports of all entered contributions and the breakdown of these monies.
- Reconcile discrepancies and resolve situations requiring immaterial error corrections under minimal supervision.
- Investigate the status of unapplied cash.
- Respond to questions from plan sponsors, plan participants, other departments within the Bank, as well as from third-party providers to client plans.
- Work in a variety of software and web-based systems that support individually directed retirement plans.
- Maintain compliance and familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti Money Laundering (AML) Policies, Procedures, and Processes, reporting unusual and suspicious activities to the BSA and/or Compliance Officer, completion of all assigned BSA training.
- Ensure responsibilities are carried out in compliance with all applicable banking regulations, and ensure audit, compliance, and regulatory findings related to specific areas of responsibility are resolved timely in accordance with managements' approved action plan.
- Other duties as may be required.
Education:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Position Knowledge/Experience: Minimum of 2 years' work experience with qualified retirement plans.
- Experience with 401k Plan Recordkeeping is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with FIS Relius is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- The ability to work independently and perform duties with a high level of accuracy is required.
- The ability to work effectively in Microsoft Excel with strong math skills is required.
- Time management skills and the ability to work within specific time limitations is critical.
- The ability to perform basic research and analysis to solve discrepancies is required.
Work Conditions:
Fully remote work may be considered. Office hours are typically 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
