Title: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 Months
Location: 200 Lamar Street, Jackson, MS 39201
Business Analyst (BA) in support of the business area SME teams on the SUCCESS Project with the Design Development Integration (DDI) vendor. This individual will be responsible for Business Analyst duties related to defining requirements, managing work backlogs, setting work priorities, overseeing IT development stages related to planning, designing, testing, approval, and implementation of SUCCESS platform modules.
The candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in development, requirements gathering, process mapping, data analysis, product owner management, software development lifecycles, and knowledgeable of project management processes.
Advanced experience with requirements management, Agile develoment methodologies (SCRUM, KABAN, etc ), development,
and writing user stories for testing and system validation is also desired.
Candidate must be a motivated team player with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Required Skills/Experience
- Candidate must have a minimum of seven (7) years experience in IT development and CI/CD processess.
- Candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years experience as a Business Analyst and Tester.
- Candidate must possess advance knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and project management.
- Candidate must have expeiece with DevOps, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and JIRA.
- Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory
- experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
- Working knowledge of Information Systems supporting, TANF, Child Support and Child Care systems.
- Tracking system defects with project tools such as JIRA and JAMA.
- Experience working within an Agile Team Environment and leading SCRUM meetings.
- Experience effectively communicating with departmental program managers and executives
