Title: Python Lead Developer
Location: Houston, TX Hybrid Onsite 4 days a week
Term: Full Time
Required skills:
- Technical Leadership: Lead a project team, providing guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership. Set technical standards and best practices for the team to follow.
Software Architecture: Design and architect software solutions, making critical decisions on software patterns, and overall system design. - Hands-on Development and L2 support activities: Participate in hands-on development, writing high-quality code, and conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices. Perform L2 support activities Technology Expertise: Leverage deep technical knowledge in Python, AWS services, DynamoDB to make informed decisions and solve complex technical challenges. Strong working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch.
Experience on Java is good to have - Project documentation: Create update project documentation including SOPs, Design documents etc.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client stake holders, BAs, and other stakeholders, to define and prioritize technical requirements. - Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance processes, including testing, code reviews, and documentation, to maintain code quality and reliability.
- Work with product team to define and maintain the rollout plan and details
- Manage and execute technical activities related to configuration of new features by region
- Conduct monitoring of transactions and application logs to ensure processes are running smoothly
- Triage any issues to resolve transactional errors, performance bottlenecks or end user reported incidents
- Report metrics related to transaction success/failure rates and other metrics
- Working experience of Logistics Domain understanding is preferred.
