Period of Performance
The initial period of performance of any Contract(s) and Work Order resulting from this RFQQ is anticipated to begin 2025, and end June 30, 2027 . WAHBE, at its sole discretion, may extend the period of performance through June 30, 2030 , in whatever time increments WAHBE deems appropriate.
Scope and Description :
IT Project Manager Resources monitor and manage technology projects using industry standard project and process management techniques. IT Project Managers use standardized project management principles based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). This includes creating project estimates, reporting, resource, and capacity planning. Additionally, IT Project Managers recommend and guide the integration of new technology, depending on scope of the project, and communicate key project information (i.e. issues, risks, changes, accomplishments) to stakeholders. IT Project Managers must have solid knowledge of and experience with the specific technology they are managing, based on customer needs. IT Project Managers demonstrate ongoing industry best practices, techniques, and standards. IT Project Manager Resources do not access Federal Tax Information.
Mandatory Requirements :
- At least 5 years of experience managing or assisting with IT projects or equivalent work.
- Formal education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field can be substituted for the following years of experience :
- Associate's degree 1 year
- Bachelor's Degree 2 years
Journey Level Resource must have demonstrated ability in the following :
Utilization or training in industry standard Project Management software and tools.
Tracking project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Creating and maintaining detailed documentation and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
Ability to create detailed project plans and schedules.
Ability to perform quality control on a project throughout development to maintain expected standards.
Desired skills :
Earned certifications from a recognized certification institution in the pertinent technology field that reflects and demonstrates a mastery of the subject matter. Such certifications as (but not limited to) : Certified associate in project management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), etc.
