Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RPG applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
- Write clean, efficient code and perform code reviews.
- Participate in testing and deployment of applications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
Experience Levels:
- 1-3 Years: Entry-level RPG development experience, familiarity with programming principles, and willingness to learn.
- 3-5 Years: Proficient in RPG programming with experience in application development and problem-solving.
- 5 Years: Advanced RPG development skills, experience in leading projects, and mentoring junior developers.
- 8 Years: Expert-level RPG developer with a strong track record of delivering complex projects and strategic thinking.
- Proficient in RPG (ILE RPG, RPG IV) and related technologies.
- Experience with DB2 or other database management systems.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, or similar.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
