Position Overview

Farm Bureau is seeking a talented Sr. JAVA Developer to join our team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be comfortable working with various technologies, including JSON, SQL, REST APIs, and design patterns. This role requires onsite presence at least four days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON data.
• Utilize SQL for database management and data retrieval.
• Implement design patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
