Through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Historic Tax Credits (HTC), tax-exempt bonds, and other incentives, we aim to preserve historic buildings, expand affordable housing options, and spark community renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and Documentation
  • Identify and track available funding sources, including LIHTC, HTC, and bond financing.
  • Prepare required filings and paperwork, ensuring that all applications meet local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Compliance Coordination
  • Maintain accurate records of all project-related approvals, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
  • Oversee adherence to relevant housing regulations and affordability requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Liaise with city agencies, nonprofit partners, and community organizations, drawing on your government experience.
  • Communicate progress updates and gather feedback to address neighborhood concerns.
  • Process Improvement
  • Propose and implement efficient workflows for project management and reporting.
  • Monitor evolving regulations and incentives to optimize the project’s financial and social impact.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in government agencies or housing authorities with a working knowledge of tax credit programs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to handle multiple filings and stakeholder relationships.
  • Enthusiasm for urban development and a desire to see Cleveland’s neighborhoods thrive.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing project environment.
