We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our operational efforts and scale our innovative analytics-driven solution. This hands-on leadership position requires a proactive, results-oriented approach to managing and enhancing our operations. Position Overview : As the VP of Operations , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic planning, and execution of business processes within our organization. You will play a critical role in managing and optimizing operational efficiency, fostering innovation, aligning data analytics initiatives with business goals, and ensuring that we continuously deliver high-quality products to our clients. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in operations and data-driven processes. Your primary responsibilities will be to identify and address operational bottlenecks to growth through innovation. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement the operational strategy to support company growth, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and data analytics processes Work closely with the executive leadership team to ensure alignment of operational goals with the company’s overall vision Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency optimization across the organization Operational Management : Oversee day-to-day operations, including resource allocation, project management, and ensuring smooth execution of data analytics services. Lead and scale operational teams to ensure effective deployment of data analytics and solutions for clients Collaborate with technical teams (data scientists, engineers) to ensure that statistical models, algorithms, and data workflows are aligned with operational objectives Data Analytics Integration : Drive the integration of machine learning models into the company’s operational processes to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve business outcomes. Evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance the company’s operational capabilities. Ensure the quality, accuracy, and security of the data used in operational processes. Team Leadership and Development : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, including clinical operations managers, quality managers, and project managers. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment where teams can thrive in leveraging AI for operational improvements. Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing training and development to team members. Client and Stakeholder Engagement : Maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring that operational delivery meets expectations and drives client satisfaction. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to support client acquisition and retention through operational excellence and data insights. Communicate operational performance and deliverables to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Financial Oversight and Reporting : Track and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure the teams are meeting or exceeding targets. Provide regular performance reports to the executive team, identifying key metrics, milestones, and areas for improvement. Continuous Improvement and Innovation : Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in operations management. Lead the adoption of best practices and innovation in operational processes to maintain a competitive edge in the data-driven healthcare analytics industry. Who will be successful in this role : Demonstrated experience in fast-growing startups Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze metrics and data to assess their impact. Experience with interacting with and presenting to the C-Suite and fortune 500 clients Project management and change management experience Comfortable with data-driven decision making Experience with both directly managing a team and leading other managers Healthcare claims data knowledge and experience preferred Comfortable with a variety of tasks and evolving responsibilities Strong critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative-based field Master’s degree highly preferred 10 years of progressive experience in operations management, technology or data analytics with 6 years in the healthcare data space required Proven track record in leading operations for a rapidly growing organization Skills : Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in scaling teams and operations. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience with operational tools and software for data management, project tracking, and AI implementation. Ability to navigate and lead in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
