Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in various subjects, particularly in areas including Math and ELA. This role involves working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning abilities. The Tutor will work with students grades 3 through 5.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support students in understanding Math and ELA concepts.
- Foster an engaging learning environment that encourages questions and active participation.

Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in higher education settings.
- Strong knowledge of Elementary Math and ELA subject matter.

Job Type: Part-time
