CAD Drafter/ Project Engineer
SmartTalent is hiring for a custom architectural company in Woodinville. This is a Temp to Hire CAD Drafter position that offers full time hours. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in AutoCAD. Must be able to read and interpret architectural construction documents and oversee all shop drawings from start to finish and coordinate with clients to ensure project is accurate and successful.

PAY: $25 - $35 DOE
LOCATION: Woodinville, WA
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 6am - 230pm

Job Responsibilities:
• Gather information relating to the project, including materials, finishes, hardware, appliance information, etc.
• Read and interpret architectural construction documents
• Gather additional information for specific, custom, or unusual materials, including proper installation methods, available sizes, specification sheets, etc.
• Attend meetings and reviewing the scope of work and details with Architects and Contractors as required
• Draft casework and millwork per project documents and quotes using AutoCAD and Microvellum Toolbox, per drafting standards and details
• Oversee the submittal and approval process
• Update shop drawings with field verified measurements and markups
• Self-review all shop drawings for quality and accuracy
• Release shop drawings to production, including running programs.
Qualifications:
• 1-2 years’ experience in related field
• 1-2 Years doing Auto CAD
• Microvellum experience is a plus!
