SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire an experienced Buyer for a manufacturing company based in Monroe, WA. Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience using MRP or ERP systems, buying materials, and placing/status orders with out of plant suppliers.
LOCATION: Monroe, WA
PAY: $22 - $28
SCHEDULE: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am - 130pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This role is responsible for interpreting and reacting to supply chain suggestions both in, and out of our MRP (material resource planning) system.
· Supporting sales, production and engineering teams with quote requests, special projects and urgent needs.
· Working with long term supplier and vendor relationships, and creating new, strategic partnerships.
· Tying sales contract commitments to supplier commitments: pricing and lead times.
· Monitoring and updating open order status.
· Making sourcing directive suggestions to management.
· Communicating constantly shifting demand to and changes in supply from suppliers.
· Other responsibilities as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:
· 2 years using MRP or ERP systems, buying materials, placing and status orders with out-plant suppliers
