SmartTalent Lynnwood is seeking to hire experienced Driver Helpers for a manufacturing company based in Everett, WA. This position is responsible for accurately and safely loading, securing, and delivering millwork products to job sites, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company standards. This role is a key touchpoint in the delivery process, requiring attention to detail, professionalism, and effective communication.

LOCATION: Everett, WA    

Pay: $20 - $24

SCHEDULE:     

Monday - Friday 6am – 330pm or until done

Job Duties: 

·        Load trucks based on schedules provided by Scheduler

·        Must be thorough in tying down loads without damaging product

·        Check off, on their paperwork, that the product being loaded is correct

·        Verify doors being loaded are correct size, style, swing and species

·        Question obvious errors on the order with Production Manager or Scheduler

·        Keep paperwork secure so it is not lost, defaced or spoiled

·        Be careful while handling all material being delivered

·        Manifest all deliveries for the day, leaving blues behind for office to reference

·        Deliver all material to the garage on the job site unless otherwise directed by the scheduler

·        Take pictures and upload to website of all deliveries made

·        Make pick-ups at jobsite per pick-up order

·        Treat all customers with RESPECT. Drivers are the last contact most customers have with WESTPAC

·        Will keep their trucks in good condition, sweeping beds, etc.

·        Notify Supervisor of any problems with deliveries, trucks or any other equipment or paperwork 

Keys to success: 

·        Be able to read, write and communicate in the English language 

·        Be able to read and understand American tape measures and units of measure

·        Keep work area and equipment clean and free of debris

·        Question obvious errors on the order with millwork lead

·        Have understanding of equipment for maintenance purposes

·        Work in other departments as the needs of the order file demands.
