SmartTalent Staffing is looking to hire an Admin Assistant for a food products supplier in Kent, WA. Ideal candidate will be motivated to work full time and have a minimum of 1 year admin experience (details below).


PAY: $20 - $21

TITLE & SHIFT: Admin Assistant, Day Shift

LOCATION: Kent, WA

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 5am – 1:30pm

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Logistics Office Associate contributes to the efficient operation of the logistics department by Providing administrative support. This job performs a range of general and specific administrative tasks including office/clerical tasks that can be easily learned on the job such as filing, copying, and collecting documents, answering phones, ordering and distributing supplies, and data entry. It also includes warehouse/driver support such as communicating with drivers, sales, and vendors when needed, and creating, and maintaining logistics-related data and reports. Other tasks may include but are not limited to maintaining customer records, sorting, and distributing incoming/ outgoing mail, printing invoices and assembling sheets, and/or receiving phone calls.

 

-         Answer/screen calls

-         File invoices in numerical order

-         Make payment orders following the template.

-         Uploading payments to the AP share folder in a timely manner.

-         Book sales orders that are entered by tablets

-         Confirm Import PO prices & make corrections

-          Run various reports: Daily Invoice Checklist

-         Email reports & PDF invoices to the AR department

-         Order warehouse supplies thru Uline

-         Communicate with drivers, sales team, buyers

-         Attach BOL copies to ship-out invoices

-         Needs to know how to operate an electric pallet jack

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Good attendance is an absolute must!

· Must have reliable transportation

· Have a minimum of 1 year admin/office/clerical experience

· Able to work in the warehouse when needed

· Must be able to operate electric pallet jack

· Effective communication skills internally and externally via phone, email, and in person

· Able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under various time constraints

· Great team player
