Route Driver
SmartHire is currently seeking committed, hardworking individuals for a Route Driver client located Mukilteo, WA. This is a full time, direct hire position. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in delivery/merchandising/sales and the ability to obtain a Class B CDL.
Schedule: 4am – 6am start time 4 x 10–12-hour days – must be flexible
Pay: $27 - $28

Key Responsibilities:
• Pick, pack, load, and deliver orders safely and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation throughout.
• Follow all company, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain clean, functional vehicles and report maintenance issues.
• Provide excellent customer service, including unloading and placing products as directed.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.
• Collaborate with route/territory sales reps to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Generate leads, follow up on opportunities, and manage the full sales process.
• Utilize negotiation skills to sell products at optimal margins within market guidelines.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, including variances and corrective actions.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on company offerings to boost sales.
• Support promotional efforts, identify growth opportunities, and communicate customer feedback.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operations and sales goals.
Requirements:
• A minimum of one year of experience in delivery and sales of perishable food products
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• CDL License is preferred
• Must be able to obtain minimum class B CDL within 6 months of hire
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
