DTCC Operations Specialist/Consultant
Summary: Responsible for processing eligible securities through the DTCC system. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of the PTS (Participant Terminal Service) system and its functionalities.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Work within the Domestic Settlements Team.
- In-depth knowledge of DTCC Portal and settlement functionalities
- Experience with TMPG Claims processing
- Handling corporate bonds, equities, and some UST fixed income products
Key Tasks:
- Process cash trades, repo transactions, and pair-offs through the DTCC system
- Monitor and process customer pair-offs, including trade cancellations for wire payments
- Settle securities transactions via deliver orders (DOs)
- Handle securities payments, mark-to-market, and money differences (Securities Payment Orders - SPOs)
- Pledge securities for collateral (to pledgees and OCC for margin requirements)
- Ensure protection of customer positions through segregation and memo segregation
- Confirm pending and unmatched trades to ensure timely settlement
- Reconcile securities positions and cash movements between DTCC & Phase3
Additional Knowledge Required:
- Experience with DTCC system and its processing functions
- Familiarity with FIS Phase3 system is a plus
- Ability to handle high-volume processing with strict deadlines
- Strong interaction with middle and front office teams.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
