Swiss CNC Operator

SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire experienced Swiss CNC Machinists for a manufacturing company in Monroe, WA. Ideal candidate will have previous experience operating Swiss CNC machines.  

LOCATION: Monroe, WA

PAY: $25 - $36

*Pay depends on shift and experience level

SCHEDULE:  

Day Shift :Friday – Sunday; 530am – 630pm

Night Shift: Friday – Sunday; 530pm - 630am

Job Responsibilities:

·        Load machines with the appropriate raw materials.

·        Conduct inspections using precision measuring tools.

·        Accurately record measurement results on inspection records.

·        Replace worn tools as necessary.

·        Set up, maintain, and clean work areas, equipment, and materials; ensure the workspace remains organized and tidy, including daily sweeping and mopping.

·        Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, regulations, manuals, and quality procedures.

·        Properly operate, maintain, and store mechanical tools and equipment required for job tasks.

·        Communicate job status to supervisors, including reporting malfunctions, non-conformances, or equipment issues.

·        Complete tasks on time and ensure work meets quality standards.

·        Participate in compliance activities related to ISO Quality Standards and the Quality Manual, as applicable.

·        Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills; prepare and submit required reports and timekeeping records accurately.

·        Follow all environmental, safety, and operational procedures, including proper use of PPE per manufacturer guidelines, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and company policies.

·        Promote a safe work environment by identifying and addressing hazards and maintaining clean work areas.

·        Understand and adhere to lockout/tag-out procedures in designated work areas.

·        Align with company policies, procedures, mission, vision, and core values.

·        Maintain reliable attendance, arrive on time, and work overtime as needed.

·        Perform additional related duties as assigned, including cross-training in other departments and machine operations.

Qualifications:

·        0-3 Years (L1), 4-6 Years (L2), 7 Years (L3) of experience in a related role.

·        Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the job, including relevant internships

·        High School Diploma/GED or trade/technical certification.

·        Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of trade terminology.

·        Familiarity with reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipment.

·        Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of all job phases.
