Job Description:
Looking for an SAP TMS Architect to join our Information Technology team in Canton, MI OR Nashville, TN OR El Paso, Texas. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization. The SAP TMS Architect is responsible for production support as well as Project/Demand support for Supply Chain Management (SCM) Logistics and Logistics execution activities, focusing on Transportation Management.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of Logistics and Warehouse Management experience
- Minimum of 1 full cycle of SAP TMS implementations
- English and Spanish speaking skills required
- Thorough knowledge of SAP TM S4/Hana, SAP ECC, SAP LBN, Project44, Microsoft Office, Service Now
- 25% minimum travel- domestic and international
Responsibilities:
- SCM/TMS Process Lead: Serve as the lead IT SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) / Transportation Management (TMS) process functional and technical specialist, functional lead role as needed to implement change or processes. With focus in Transportation Management as well as SCM activities.
- Subject Matter Expert: Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in the functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions, provides technical direction and ensure compliance with best practice solutions
- Technical Liaison: Acts as the technical liaison to solve business problems with existing programs or leads the design of new processes, leads the development of solution functional specifications
- Solution Architect: Develops solution strategies and architecture design for the implementation of business requirements
- Mentor: Mentors less experienced employees in developing functional expertise in Operational Governance solutions and processes
- Project Management: Manages the creation and timely updates of project plans and supporting tools (resource planning, tasks, department budgets, milestones and deliverables), understands and follows the Project Management process for software project development, leads detailed project-planning efforts on larger projects, and may act as a project manager for development efforts, provides project deliverables, time and effort estimates for personal and other team members' tasks
- Participates in ongoing professional development to enhance technical skills, communication skills, business knowledge, and knowledge of information systems products and procedure
