Maintenance Attendant
Smash Park is looking for a part-time Maintenance Attendant to ensure the facility and grounds are in working order and fully set up every morning for Smash Park guests. A maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on building grounds, systems and equipment, including troubleshooting issues, fixing broken parts, and responding to emergency repairs to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance within a facility and it's grounds; requiring strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to use various hand tools and equipment.
As a Maintenance Attendant for Smash Park, a typical day might include the following:
A maintenance technician is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on building systems and equipment, including troubleshooting issues, fixing broken parts, and responding to emergency repairs to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance within a facility; requiring strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to use various hand tools and equipment. Key responsibilities:
- Responsible To Assist The Guest And Front Of House Teams With Guest Needs To Provide Professional, Competent, And Prompt Service To Guests.
- Know And Follow All Smash Park Service Standards
- Report To Work On Time And In Full Uniform.
- Each Associate Is Expected To Carry Out All Reasonable Requests By Management, Which The Associate Is Capable Of Performing.
- Each Associate Will Be Required To Follow The Rules As Found In The Smash Park Associate Handbook.
- Greeting All Guest Promptly And Assisting Guests With New And Existing Activity Reservations
- Answer Any Questions And Inform Guests Of All Areas Of Fun At Smash Park In Person And On The Phone.
- Set Up And Tear Down The Yard For The Day According To The Proper Season As Directed By The Manager.
- Set Up And Tear Down The Private Or Public Event Set Up Item Needs According To Direction By The Manager On Duty.
- Run Food Items Accurately, Efficiently, And Effectively To Ensure The Freshest Possible Product For Our Guests.
- Be Able To Handle Floor And Counter Station Assigned To You, Be An Active Participant In Team On Point System Using Teamwork And Consolidation To Provide The Guests In All Stations Excellent Service.
- Be Sure That Tables In All Stations Are Properly Bussed Through The Meal. All Empty Items Condiments And Dirty Dishes And Silverware Should Be Cleared Except Table Complement.
- When Guests Leave, Bus And Reset Tables With Attention To The Following Areas:
- Table Top Dry And Non-Sticky
- Sanitation Of Floor Area And Cushions, Wipe Areas Thoroughly And Pick Up Litter
- Table Complements Reset According To Dining Room Procedure
- Reset Table With Appropriate China, Glass, Linen, And Silver For Each Meal Period
- When Clearing And Resetting Tables, Follow Proper Procedures For Handling Glassware.
- Special Attention Should Be Made To Full Trays In Full Trays Out
- Providing Personalized Service To All Guests.
- Check Station Assigned To You Prior To Opening For Cleanliness Of Tables, Chairs, And Floor; Proper Set-Up.
- Have Necessary Equipment To Work With
- Do All Necessary Side Work Assigned.
- Attend Pre-Shift Menu Class And Or Taste Panel And Be Aware Of Daily Specials, Drinks, And Have Knowledge Of All Menu Items, Their Garnish, Etc. Be Prepared To Answer Questions From Guests On Items (Preparation, Etc.).
- Follow Procedure To Take Our Guests' Order; Pre-Ring Check In Toast Using Modifiers, Etc.
- Know And Follow Sequence Of Service Points
- Know Proper Beverage, Liquor And Wine Service.
- Taking Inventory Of Food, Beverages And Supplies For Each Day.
- Checking On Tables With Proper Greeting
- Pre-Bussing And Bussing Tables Consistently
- Working With Kitchen And Service Staff To Ensure High Levels Of Customer Service At All Times
- Preparing Foods Such As Kitchen Food And Sauce Portions, Coffee, Tea, And Infused Water
- Clearing And Cleaning Tables As They Are Vacated.
- Wiping Up Spills And Maintaining Cleanliness Of All Appliances And Counter Space Throughout The Shift.
- Removing Trash, Rinsing Trash Receptacle With Wash And Walk And Returning.
- Restocking Self-Service Condiments, Cutlery And Supplies As Needed.
- Washing Serving Equipment, Polishing, And Returning It To Storage.
- Completing Full Restroom Checks, Replacing Any Equipment Needed At Any Time To Ensure All Guest Supplies Are Available.
- Returning Reusable Supplies To Storage.
- Know And Follow All Proper Money Handling Procedures.
- Set up the yard to completion – tables, chairs, seat cushions, etc.
- Pressure wash /clean up spills
- Power Blower for yard and parking debris
- Remove all trash from The Yard, as well as the parking lot and perimeter of the venue
- Water the flowers/plants
- Wipe down all tables and chairs
- Sweep up rocks and other debris
- Preventative maintenance: Conducting routine inspections and scheduled maintenance tasks to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Repair and troubleshooting:Diagnosing malfunctions, disassembling equipment, replacing faulty parts, and repairing broken machinery.
- Emergency repairs:Promptly responding to urgent maintenance issues and performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Building system maintenance:Maintaining and repairing systems like plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and fire safety equipment.
- Safety compliance:Adhering to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
- Documentation:Keeping detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.
- Communication:Collaborating with other departments to address maintenance needs and reporting issues effectively.
