What You’ll Do
- Set the Tone: Be the leader who energizes the space and inspires your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences — with personality and professionalism.
- Build the Culture: Foster a fast-paced, fun, and feedback-rich environment where team members grow, and guests feel the difference.
- Own the Brand: Represent the values of LM Restaurants while shaping the distinctive SMASH identity in your location and community.
- Deliver Excellence: Ensure a guest-ready space that is clean, welcoming, and fully operational — no detail too small.
- Drive Sales: Lead a high-performing sales and service team that’s focused on event bookings, hospitality-driven upselling, and daily revenue goals.
- Master the Tools: Oversee the use of F&B tech platforms, POS systems, booking software, and back-office tools to drive efficiency and data-informed decisions.
- Lead Events: Oversee private events and group experiences that generate buzz, revenue, and repeat business.
- Control the Numbers: Achieve food, labor, maintenance, and operational targets — without compromising the guest experience.
- Be Guest Obsessed: Address feedback quickly and thoughtfully, turning problems into opportunities to deepen guest loyalty.
- Grow the Brand: Connect with local businesses, influencers, and event planners to expand the SMASH footprint in the community.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience as a General Manager or above in a high-volume ($8MM ) restaurant or entertainment concept
- Ability to work an average of 55 hours per week (more during restaurant opening)
- Proven ability to manage a large team with strong delegation and consistent follow-up
- Confident handling of challenging situations and tough conversations
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Financial acumen — must be able to analyze and act on a P&L
- A true team coach and developer who mentors and motivates at every level
