About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Smashburger - Dillon in Colorado. This is a full-time or part-time position that requires the preparation of food items that meet and exceed our hospitality and service standards.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cook, line cook, prep cook, sous chef, or other back-of-house staff member. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required. Food Handlers certification is also desirable, although we can provide training for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to the menu, recipes, and special dietary or nutritional restrictions.
- Determine food and supplies needed to keep the kitchen running and stocked during service.
- Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health in the kitchen.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (cooking, line cooking, prep cooking, sous chef, or back-of-house staff).
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction.
