What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional (IHS) - No ADLs, No Weekends position at SMB Disability Solutions?
Individualized Home Support (IHS) DSP Staff provide one to one supports to people living with disabilities in their homes and the community. Staff promote independence in people by focusing on achieving their personal goals. IHS Staff enjoy a variety of perks:
- No personal cares/minimal medication administration
- Individualized schedule based on employee availability
- Work cell phone provided
- Working with a diverse population in a variety of locations
A typical day will include 3-4 scheduled visits. Each person has different goals/interests and IHS DSPs guide them toward achieving those goals.

Requirements:

- Over 18 with a high school diploma or GED
- Able to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
