The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. Role Description
SMBC is in process of leading a Digital Transformation across our Americas Division as we continue to modernize our technology, focus on our data driven approach, grow and plan for the future.
As a result of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced RPA developer position located in our Jersey City, NJ location. In this position you will need to understand all facets of RPA process development, administration, and be able to support the company SDLC process. This includes gathering business requirements, developing RPA solutions, creating RPA test cases, application lifecycle management, deployment support and production support.
Role Objectives : Delivery
- Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through RPA and enhanced workflow automation platforms.
- Responsible for enhancement and maintenance of the RPA system developed in UiPath.
- Supporting the development full lifecycle implementation of the automation project and production development
- Plan and participate in deployment of RPA platform components, including bots, orchestrators, development tools, and systems integrations, to meet enterprise requirements for security, scalability, testability, and performance
- Serve as an automation technical expert on development projects
- Provide core RPA development and testing guidance
- Support testing activities and maintaining updated workflow documentation, test plan, test procedures, review test results, documents test activities, and records remedial actions
- Ensure quality of coded components by performing thorough unit testing
- Provide metrics on testing and production activities as necessary
- Deploy RPA scripts to optimize automation
- Develop pipelines using CI / CD tools for RPA deployments
Role Objectives : Interpersonal
Work with business teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, needs, or process gaps that would be addressed via proposed applications. Engage with application users and IT support staff to aid in troubleshooting and debugging of application issues. Partner with graphic artists, user interface designers and front-end engineers to develop the front-end interface of the application and optimize user experience. Liaise with other technology and development teams as needed to coordinate on the integration of applications with the larger company software ecosystem. Participate in periodic development meetings to align development priorities and objectives, assign tasks, and share experiences and challenges with applications under development.
Role Objectives : Expertise
Display proficiency with programming languages and protocols required for the development and maintenance of assigned applications and functions. Exhibit functional understanding of application development planning processes such as Agile, Scrum, and DevOps and change management and testing procedures. Demonstrate basic knowledge of business use case for assigned applications and other solutions in the market to ensure that developed software is optimal for its intended purpose. Show understanding of technical, infrastructure, data, and security requirements of developed solutions and ability to translate into adequate technical specifications and guidelines.
