Sugar Beet Production
The Agriculturist is responsible for providing expert advice on sugar beet production, including contracting acres, selecting varieties, issuing seed, scouting fields, recommending pesticides, monitoring fertility, and observing harvest activities.
Field Observations
The successful candidate will be responsible for scouting and monitoring fields contracted in their territory for various pest and other agronomic issues. They will also organize strip trials with growers, verify samples are taken for quality analysis, and communicate results to the grower and other internal and external customers.
