What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at SMC INC?
We are seeking a Cashier/Customer Service Representative to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling merchandise in a retail setting in order to drive company sales. SMC Inc. operates 12 highly successful Sunoco gas/convenience stores in the Philadelphia area. We are hiring for all shifts at our Chadds Ford store located at: 1700 Wilmington Pike, Chadds Ford PA 19317.
Pay is based on experience and starts at $13.00 per hour.
Shifts available are:
7am-3pm
3pm-11pm
11pm-7am
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and giving them great service
- Ringing up sales on a register
- Stocking shelves
- Light Housekeeping duties (cleaning, sweeping/mopping, changing trash)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales/customer service is preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
