ISE is renowned for its reputable high school exchange programs, placing well-screened students from 16 countries around the world. As an area representative, you’ll have the chance to meet incredible people, both locally and globally, and you’ll even earn a free trip to Denmark in December!
About Our Students:
ISE's well-screened high school exchange students are 14-18 years old, live with warm and caring volunteer host families for an academic year, while attending the nearest public high school to the family. Each student has his/her own spending money and full medical insurance. Additionally, ISE exchange students are under a strict set of behavioral rules while on program.
What Does the Area Representative Role Involve?
- Recruiting Volunteer Families: Your primary role is to find warm and caring families willing to host exchange students for a semester or a year. You'll get to connect with people in your community and share the joy of cultural exchange.
- Collaborating with Schools: You’ll work closely with local schools to ensure seamless enrollment and integration of students into the educational system.
- Ongoing Support: Serving as a liaison, you'll provide continuous support to students and host families, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved.
Flexible and Rewarding
This freelance role offers you the flexibility to set your own schedule and goals. You'll receive pre-arrival compensation for each student placement as well as ongoing monthly payments for supervisory roles. While the position involves working from home, it also includes engaging with the community in-person and leveraging social media to find host families.
