The ISE Exchange Student Programs is seeking a dedicated Area Representative in the Winter Haven area for a dynamic freelance role. This position is ideal for individuals such as teachers, coaches, and community leaders who are interested in cultural exchange. community engagement, and free international travel.
The role offers the flexibility to work from home 40% of the time, with the remaining 60% focused on engaging with local communities to recruit volunteer host families for international high school students. These students, aged 14-18 from over 60 countries, come prepared with their own spending money and full medical insurance, ready to integrate into American life by attending local public high schools.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with schools to promote student exchange and gain enrollment of incoming international students.
- Recruiting and screening host families within 30 miles of your home base and providing after arrival host family and student support through regular monthly communication and visits.
- Providing monthly progress reports on student’s adjustment to host family, school, and social activities.
