What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager VIP position at SMGHA Nevada, LLC?
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service, establish rapport and provide excellent service by answering questions, resolving disputes and adhering to guest requests.
- Provide a positive work environment for VIP Representatives
- Facilitate ordering of supplies, etc for VIP Lounge
- Answer telephones and email requests in a professional, friendly and timely manner.
- Assist guests with booking and changing reservations and/or reservation inquiries at multiple properties.
- Issue complimentary based upon specific casino guidelines for levels of play.
- Assist Casino Hosts, VIP, Players Club, Box Office and other departments with information regarding casino guests.
- Think independently and use problem solving skills to assist employees with various forms of resolution.
- Protect the confidentiality of all company files and documents under their immediate control when necessary.
- Proactively resolve any guest issue that arises, including the coordination of departmental assistance when necessary.
- Notify Management of any suspicious or unusual activity and/or transactions in a timely and responsible manner.
- Maintain a supportive and productive professional relationship with co-workers, Supervisors and Executives.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years Front Desk, VIP Services, Casino Marketing, or related casino experience.
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in a lounge setting.
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- May be exposed to smoke
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
- Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
- Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Use of standard office equipment.
- Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
